One of the most beautiful spots in Bermuda is Horseshoe Bay. The beach is situated next to the Southhampton Fairmont Resort, a $30 cab from the airport or the bus can drop you off on top of a hill and you must walk down. There is a shuttle bus available to take you up to the hill ($2) where you can grab the bus back. Horseshoe Bay is composed of several beaches, some large ones with good enough waves for boogie boarding and possibly surfing as well as some small ones for intimate relaxation. There are plenty of small cove-style beaches that have beautiful crystal clear waters. This area is also great to do some very easy mountain climbing as well as kite surfing. The sand is very fine and soft with a bit of pink. These beaches are also great for running and working out. The ocean views are amazing thanks to the hundreds of gigantic rocks that dot the bay. There are trails that allow you to walk from one beach to the next, making it possible to spend all day exploring the beaches along the bay. There is free parking and beach rentals at the biggest beach and a small shop where you can buy some food and drinks. There are no real restaurants or shops, however, the private beach at the Fairmont Southhampton Resort right next to it has an amazing restaurant, the Ocean Club, that boasts great views of the water and beach. Like most places in Bermuda, this restaurant is quite expensive, but the food is amazing and service is great. There are free changing rooms as well as showers. This beach is great for snorkelling as the rocks in the bay attract many exotic fish. This beach is great for families looking to build sand castles, boogie board as well as for couples looking for seclusion.
